One of the greatest perks of living in San Diego is the amazing year-round weather we sometimes take for granted. Why not take advantage of the great weather while making sure to support local business AND choosing to consume healthy, organic produce grown right here in our own communities? Sounds like a win-Win-WIN to me! Having locally sourced organic produce at our fingertips and experiencing the care farmers put into their craft is what keeps me going back to farmer’s markets regularly. Have you ever had the fresh-pressed sugar cane juice at the Vista Farmer’s Market or gone out to get fresh citrus from Valley Center or honey from Pauma Valley? Do it, trust me.

Farmers’ Markets are certified by the County Agricultural Commissioner, ensuring that the produce is being sold by the grower is actually grown in California and meets all California quality standards. So you know that you’re getting the freshest produce.
